TOYOTA FIELD – The NASL defending champions, San Antonio Scorpions, took to the field in a match against the Indiana 11 and although the champs dropped the game 1-2, they wanted to wish the other defending champs in town, the San Antonio Spurs, their best as they begin their title defense in Los Angeles against […]

Stats show ‘Hack-A-Jordan’ may not work

You know it’s coming, the Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan knows it’s coming and the San Antonio Spurs are certainly going to do it. What is “it” you ask? “Hack-A-Jordan.” The Spurs have never shied away from using the tactic to send Jordan (a career 41 percent free throw shooter) to the line when the game is […]

DeAndre Jordan Ready for Spurs’ “Hack-A-DJ” Strategy

The Los Angeles Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan is probably awaking in a cold sweat just thinking about the free throws that Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs will force him to shoot in their upcoming meetings. He won’t admit that though, instead choosing to tell the associated press in Los Angeles a different story.

Once again, here they come, the San Antonio Spurs are ready to take that ring for the sixth time, and they are showing it in flying fashion. Tony Parker: There’s no stopping Chris Paul

One of the more intriguing matchups between the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers has to be the point guard matchup between Tony Parker and Chris Paul. The two have squared off before when Paul was with the Hornets and know a thing or two about each other’s style of play. Add the fact […]

Tony Parker: Never repeating is all the motivation the Spurs need

Last season, the San Antonio Spurs had all the motivation in the world to get them through an 82-game regular season and a march to the 2014 NBA crown – Game 6 of the 2014 NBA Finals which saw the title slip through their fingers and Miami winning the title in Game 7. Heading into […]

PS’ 2015 Playoff Preview — Spurscast 360: Go West, Old Men

The San Antonio Spurs ended the 2014-15 regular season in a rather anti-climatic fashion, unraveling on the road against the young New Orleans Pelicans. San Antonio had been on an impressive run through most of March and April and were looking at a golden opportunity to enter the post-season as the second seed in the West. All the Spurs needed to do was simply win. Instead they’ll enjoy the luxury of being the sixth seed and skip two time zones to take on the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers are clearly trying to sandbag the Spurs

The Los Angeles Clippers aren’t into “poking the bear” so to speak, but they clearly don’t know where to find the middle ground. The San Antonio Spurs certainly will take the appreciation and compliments, but most likely with a rather large grain of salt. I mean Jamal Crawford thought it would be a good idea […]

The Spurs Have A Message For Playoff Contenders

The San Antonio Spurs have found themselves in the sixth spot in the West with a meeting against the Los Angeles Clippers this Sunday. While this wasn’t the plan (hopefully), the Spurs welcome the challenge and there is a message in San Antonio for any who doubt them. OK so he billboard isn’t real, but the […]

Danny Green’s Offseason Expectations for the New York Knicks

As the NBA playoffs get ready to commence, teams like the New York Knicks are sitting at home, scheming on a way into the playoffs next year.
