Michael founded Project Spurs in 2004. He started The Spurscast, the first Spurs podcast and hosted it up until 2012. He has a long history in journalism, sports and online media.
Michael has been interviewed by the BBC, SportTalk, the Sports Reporters Radio Show, MemphisSportLive, OKC Sports Wrap, ESPN and local radio among others.
Michael has ran the Project Spurs network until his death in March of 2022 in a battle against cancer. His family is his number one supporter of Project Spurs and he has passed the network to his nephew Jacob De Leon.

Jacob graduated from Texas State University where he received his degree in Exercise Sports Science. He is a sports fanatic that enjoys working hard and training martial arts. Jacob originally started the network site All Access MMA, and he continues the legacy started by his Uncle at Project Spurs.

Paul joined Project Spurs in early 2011. He started out as a staff writer and is now an editor and content director for the site. Paul is a San Antonio Spurs-credentialed media member, host of the Spurscast and is the editor of PS Network site Analyzing the League.
Paul has been interviewed on local and national radio, and has been a guest on several NBA podcasts.

Jonas Clark is a San Antonio, TX resident with roots in Ohio, explaining his Browns fandom. Jonas covers the NFL, college sports, and the general sports contents for Project Spurs. He’s a graduate of Bowling Green State University and has a background in radio with stints as a producer for local San Antonio sports radio.

Joe Garcia joined Project Spurs back in 2019. Joe has extensive experience in audio/video production specializing in live streaming. When Joe is not in the editing bay, he lends his time as a guest speaker sharing his knowledge with other content creators. Joe Joins the Project Spurs network as the director of digital media where he creates unique and diverse content for the network.
