Spurs vs. Trailblazers Preview
The San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trailblazers find themselves right next to each other at the 13th and 14th spots of the Western Conference. However, the Spurs (14-32) are way behind the Trailblazers sitting seven games behind.
San Antonio’s Keldon Johnson was the leading scorer in their matchup against the Clippers. He will need another dominant performance if they want to stand a chance against Damien Lillard and Rip City. Tre Jones will have his hands full in this matchup. If they can limit Lillard, and if Poeltl can win the matchup down low against Nurkic, San Antonio can defy the Oddsmakers.
Portland on the other hand has some weapons that the Spurs need to worry about. Damian Lillard obviously has the capability of taking over the game, but they also have strong scorers in Jeremy Grant and Josh Hart.
