Almost two weeks after agreeing to a deal with Juve Caserta, reports surfaced today that former Austin Spurs guard Ryan Arcidiacono has signed a two-way with the Chicago Bulls.
Initially, Arcidiacono signed with JuveCaserta Basket of Italy’s Lega Basket Serie A. But due to certain financial issues, JuveCaserta has been excluded from Serie A, allowing Arcidiacono to pursue other avenues with his NBA escape clause, leading to the deal with Chicago.
Arcidiacono will now sign a one year, two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls, allowing him to split time between Chicago and their G-League affiliate the Windy City Bulls.
In five summer games with the Bulls, Arcidiacono averaged 5.8 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 42 percent from the field. With Windy City, Arcidiacono could have the opportunity to team up with another former Austin Spur, Jarell Eddie.
