Spurs vs. Rockets Preview

The bitch-ass, turnover prone, can’t beat the two contender teams they have faced but smoke weak teams, the San Antonio Spurs (7-2) will face the Houston Rockets (6-3) tonight in San Antonio.
For the Spurs, this will be the second game of a back-to-back after getting embarrassed by the Mavs last night, losing 105-92.  The Spurs have already lost to the Rockets this season (89-81) where rebounding was key, or for the Spurs, was lacking.  The Spurs cannot let this happen again tonight.  Spurs also have to focus on Bonzi Wells aka “The Spurs Killer”, as he went for 14 points and 15 rebounds off the bench in this season’s first matchup with San Antonio.  Duncan was held to 14 points on 5-for-15 shooting in this season’s first matchup with the Rockets.   Over the last four meetings, the Spurs have lost to the Rockets three times.  Also, the Spurs have shown they can get off to a sluggish start and they cannot allow this to happen tonight against a strong Houston team.  And will someone please tell Pop to play Udoka more to get more defense out there!!!!!!!!!
For the Rockets, not only will they try to continue their recent success against the Spurs, they will be without T-Mac tonight as he suffered an injury to his vagina.  No seriously he will be out nursing a strained right elbow.  Expect Wells to start in his place.  Yao had 28 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and three blocks last week against San Antonio. It was his best scoring effort against the Spurs, and he will be expected to carry the team with T-Mac out.
Here is an interesting tidbit: no team has reached 100 points in this series since the Spurs beat the Rockets 102-78 on April 4, 2002.
Key match-up tonight will be Bowen vs. Wells.  The “Spurs Killer” has had his way everytime he has faced the Spurs.  Bowen will have to play his best defense against Wells if the Spurs are to win.  Though Bowen does have trouble defending bigger players like Wells, Bowen has found his shooting touch in recent games and this may help the Spurs tonight.  Again……………….Pop, if Wells is torching the Spurs play Udoka!!!!!
Should be a great game tonight, expect Parker to have a better game then that pussy shit performance he had last night against the Mavs.  In the end, no T-Mac so Spurs should win.
