PORTLAND – After weather postponed their initially scheduled matchup, the Maine Red Claws won the weather-delayed contest on Monday night, beating the Austin Spurs by a final score of 111-108.
Armed with a five point halftime lead, the Red Claws shot a scorching 67 percent from the field in the third quarter to take a 20 point lead heading into the final frame.
Austin made a comeback behind Jeff Ledbetter’s career-high 30 points, but Darrun Hilliard’s game-tying 3-point attempt would fall short as the Spurs dropped their second in a row.
