With Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both raising funds for their campaigns and presidential debates just right around the corner in September, HoopsHype has compiled a list of NBA donors.
Both San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and former Spur Doc Rivers have pledged to Obama's campaign, while a majority of the front office brass and owners around the league are supporting Romney.
All three of the NBA players have sided with Romney, and while there were 19 donors for Obama compared to Romney's 15, Romney ended up with almost 20,000 more than Obama.
While it's interesting to see sports and politics intertwine in the offseason, especially without a lockout to deal with and with most rosters pretty much set aside from a few adjustments and free agent additions before training camp.
