San Antonio Spurs’ DeJuan Blair’s team high 14 points was not enough for the BC Krasnye Krylia Redwings as they fell to Triumph, 94-71, at the EuroChallenge Qualifying Round.
Though both teams stayed within striking distance of each other, Triumph pulled away in the second quarter with a 20-1 run. The Redwings scored a mere 14 points in the third quarter and were down as much as 18 points heading into the final quarter.
Blair finished with 14 points, four rebounds, shot 6-10 from the field, 2-4 from the free-throw line in 23 minutes of action.
Former NBA players Jarvis Hayes and Joe Alexander also finished in double-figures with 13 and 11 points respectively.
