The San Antonio Spurs officially closed out the regular season over the weekend with losses to the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks.
The losses saw San Antonio end the regular season with a 34-48 record, locking up the 10th seed in the Western Conference, and will hit the road for a play-in game with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Warriors 100, Spurs 94
The San Antonio Spurs opened the weekend with a 100-94 loss to the Warriors at the AT&T Center on Saturday night.
The defeat meant the Spurs would finish the 2021-22 season with a 16-25 record at the AT&T Center.
San Antonio played without Dejounte Murray, Keldon Johnson, Jakob Poeltl, Devin Vassell, and Doug McDermott.
As a result, Lonnie Walker IV had 24 points to lead the Spurs, the lone Spur to hit above 20 points. Josh Primo had 15 points and Tre Jones added 15.
Josh Richardson added 10 points.
”Definitely had a tough stretch, a tough first half,” Primo said. ”Had trouble getting it going. Had some turnovers early, but I just had to keep my head. The team is really good about telling me to keep my confidence.”
Golden State was led by Jonathan Kuminga and Jordan Poole, who each had 18 points.
Mavs 130, Spurs 120
The Spurs closed out the regular season with a 130-120 loss to the Mavericks at the AmericanAirlines Center on Sunday evening.
San Antonio finished the season with an 18-23 record away from the AT&T Center.
Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 26 points despite having a tweaked ankle in the game. Dorian Finney-Smith scored all of his 16 points in the third quarter.
Johnson returned to the lineup for San Antonio, leading the team with 24 points. Josh Richardson added 18 points off the bench and Dejounte Murray chipped in 15 in his return.
”I can’t wait,” said Johnson of the upcoming play-in game. ”I feel like it’s time for us to prove some stuff. I feel like everybody’s got that mindset, and we all know we can do it as long as we do it together.”
