Last month, Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Steve Nash was in New York City for his annual Showdown in Chinatown presented by Ortsbo.
The Showdown is an annual charity soccer match with professional athletes. Milwaukee Bucks’ Brandon Jennings, Suns’ Marcin Gortat, retired US Soccer player Claudio Reyna and San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker participated in this year’s game.
This year’s Showdown – the fourth – benefited early education work with Educare.
As mentioned, Parker took part in the soccer match and as you can see, he may have to stick to his day job or re-consider any thoughts on playing pro-soccer during the current NBA lockout.
