Video: Spurs’ Leonard in action at Impact League Day 2

0

Day two of the Impact League is in the books and for San Antonio Spurs’ James Anderson and Kawhi Leonard, it meant another fantastic performance.

Anderson finished with 24 points, 11/12 from the field, 0/4 from the three-point line, 2/2 from the free-throw line, four rebounds, three assists and two turnovers.

What more can can you say about Anderson? Seems as if this guy cannot miss from the field. In day one, he finished with 19 points, 7/10 from the field. His deadly outside shooting will be a needed boost to the Spurs next season.

Leonard finished with 21 points, 6/9 from the field, 2/4 from the three-point line, 3/4 from the free-throw line, nine rebounds and two assists.

The rookie is looking great. One of the knocks on Leonard’s game was his less-than-stellar outside shooting touch. But surprisingly he is showing a nice shooting touch. In day one, he finished with 16 points, 6/8 from the field, and 1/4 from the three-point line. His ability to make the shot from the three-point line has to put a smile on Spurs fans and coaching staff.
