During the offseason, the San Antonio Spurs re-signed center Tiago Splitter to a four-year, $36-million deal that will keep him under contract through the 2016-17 season.

Some Spurs fans griped, feeling it may have been a tad bit more than he should have earned but in the end, keeping Splitter in the mix and maintaining team chemistry in the hopes of making another run to the NBA Finals made sense.

At Spurs' Media Day, 1250 ESPN SA's "The Hardline" caught up with Tiago where he revealed a lot including how a few teams were interested in his services but decided on San Antonio, getting blocked by LeBron James in the NBA Finals, what aspect of his game he looks to improve heading into the new season, the sting of losing in the Finals and much more.
