The two best teams France (9-1) and Spain (9-1) will square off today for the Eurobasket 2011 championship in what should be a fantastic matchup.
This is the game everyone was looking forward to seeing. France and Spain’s roster are loaded with talent with players such as Pau Gasol, Marc Gasol, Ricky Rubio, Rudy Fernandez for Spain and Nicolas Batum, Joakim Noah, Boris Diaw for France.
However, France’s Tony Parker and Spain’s Juan Carlos Navarro have been playing exceptionally well throughout the tournament and are worthy of MVP consideration. San Antonio Spurs’ Parker is averaging 21.7 points, and 4.3 assists while Navarro is averaging 17.9 points, and 2.8 assists.
These two point guards will be going head-to-head today but which floor leader is MVP material?
