It was a fantastic NBA season for San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker. He put up great stats of his pro-career, led the Spurs to a solid record and the Western Conference Finals and even garnered consideration for the NBA’s MVP award. But his offseason was marred when he got caught up in a nightclub brawl which nearly cost him an eye when a shard of glass hit him.

It was a scary moment for Parker and in the video below, he talks about how that injury made him reflect on his life and gives details on his post-eye surgery recovery.
