Last weekend, Michael De Leon and I made the trip down to Brownsville, Texas to cover former San Antonio Spurs guard George Hill play in his first two ABA games with the Texas Fuel. Hill scored 38 points on Saturday and 31 points on Sunday as he led the Fuel to two straight victories.
In this Project Spurs exclusive interview, Hill tells De Leon and I how he felt about the city of San Antonio, what it was like to know he’d be playing with the Indiana Pacers, why Gregg Popovich was one of his greatest influences, and why there’s a chance he and DeJuan Blair could team together in the future.
