Video: ESPN asks if Spurs will win the west

The San Antonio Spurs clinched the number one seed in the Western Conference playoffs last night by drubbing the Portland Trail Blazers (124-89) in their final home game.

And now that the road to the Western Conference Finals now goes through the Spurs, it might be safe to say San Antonio will have the best shot to win the West. Well not according to ESPN’s Rob Parker.

As if owning an 8-game winning streak and locking up the West’s best record wasn’t enough, Parker still says the Spurs will not win the West and says the Thunder will be representing the West in the NBA Finals. Granted Parker made this statement before last night’s Spurs-Blazers game but check out the video Spurs fans.

Well there you have it Spurs fans. Parker points to the Spurs getting ousted by the Grizzlies last season but this team is heading into the playoffs with a healthy squad and are firing on all cylinders. And what’s with Parker pointing to TV ratings as if that is relevant reason the Spurs won’t win a title?

What do you have to say Spurs fans?
