The slimmed-down Curry sailed past the Atlanta Hawks defense to put back a missed Danny Green jumper for an athletic putback slam. Curry then grabbed the ball as it came through the hoop and scowled.
If Curry can put more hustle plays like this together and show the Spurs he can be intimidating inside on defense off the bench, he could find himself with a roster spot, although several other players including Josh Powell seem to have a leg up in possibly nabbing a roster spot.
I'm pretty sure Curry's highlight helped his stock with some of the other teams that have been linked to him should he be cut by the Spurs.
