With their second round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the San Antonio Spurs selected Ohio State's Deshaun Thomas. You know, the same guy who refused to give the Spurs his phone number in the days leading up to the draft.
But all that is water under the bridge as the 6'7" forward will now hope to impress the team and get a roster spot heading into next season.
Though he had to wait a bit longer than he thought, Thomas spoke about being selected by the Spurs and is very happy to be a member of the silver and black and will be heading to San Antonio soon to begin working out with the team.
