Finally the San Antonio Spurs know who they’ll face next on the NBA playoffs and it will be the Los Angeles Clippers after the Clips beat the Memphis Grizzlies in seven games.
But as the Spurs and Clippers get set to square off this Tuesday in San Antonio, after the Clippers’ win, head coach Vinny Del Negro spoke on facing his former team.
Del Negro feels the series against San Antonio will be different pointing to the Spurs’ championship pedigree, their depth and much more. Interesting to note, Del Negro admits Blake Griffin was hobbling in the Game 7 win over Memphis. That is something to watch for once the Spurs and Clips series kicks off.
