Though San Antonio Spurs’ DeJuan Blair’s time with Russian squad BC Krasnie Krilya Samara was short, he was able to get some much-needed playing time in this NBA lockout (which seems it took a turn for the worst) and provide something for Spurs fans to discuss.
In three games with the Redwings in the VTB United League, Blair averaged 16 points, 6.7 rebounds, shot 61.8% from the field in 20.7 minutes.
And now that he has been released by the Redwings, check out the highlights from his time playing in Russia including Blair showing off a nice shooting touch. Let’s hope he keeps that up for the Spurs this upcoming season.
Also, this might be the closest we get to seeing any Spurs player in action for quite sometime.
