The Austin Spurs backcourt got a lot thinner on Tuesday, after the Utah Jazz announced that they have signed point guard Bryce Cotton to a 10-day contract.

The Utah Jazz announced the team has signed forward Jack Cooley (Idaho Stampede, the Jazz’s exclusive NBA Development League affiliate) and guard Bryce Cotton (Austin Spurs) to 10-day contracts. Respectively, Cotton and Cooley become the NBA’s 38th and 39th overall NBA D-League Call-Ups of the 2014-15 season and the 28th and 29th different players to be called up. Per team policy, financial terms were not released. Following the moves, the Jazz roster now stands at 15 players.

It was only a matter of time before Cotton received his much deserved call up. He’s started all 34 games for the Austin Spurs, while averaging 22.4 points (third best in the D-League), 4.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists in just over 40 minutes per game. Cotton’s shooting percentages are also stellar, as he boasts a 47% shooting percentage on field goals, 45% on three pointers, and 90% on free throws.

Cotton was also recently named D-League Performer of the Week on Monday, February 23rd, after averaging 30 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game last week.

Cotton will wear #8 for the Utah Jazz.
