The Austin Toros (San Antonio Spurs’ D-League affiliate) have completed a trade for 
forward/center Luke Zeller of the Bakersfield Jam.
Here is how the trade breaks down:
- Toros send their 41st draft pick and the second round pick in the 2012 NBA D-League Draft to the Jam
- Jam sends Zeller and their 123rd 2011 draft pick to the Toros
Originally drafted by the Iowa Energy in 2010, Zeller averaged 6.8 points, 1.2 assists, 4.5 rebounds in 23.6 minutes for the Jam last season.
“To bring a player of Luke’s talent and background to the Toros organization is exciting,” said Brad Jones, Toros Head Coach. “He was a big part of Bakersfield’s success last season. He will add toughness and perimeter shooting to the Toros roster.”
The Toros hold the second overall pick in the upcoming 2011 D-League draft.
