Tony Parker powers ASVEL to win over Cholet

After losing to Gravelines-Dunkerque, San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker and ASEVL-Villeurbanne got back on the winning track with a 79-70 road victory over Cholet.

ASVEL was trailing at the half 36-32 but the third quarter saw the team get it done on both ends of the court. The team’s defense picked up and ASVEL outscore Cholet 22-12 heading into the games final quarter. It was enough to hold off Cholet who made a rally late in the game as ASVEL was outscored 25 to 22.

Parker finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, off 8-14 shooting, 0-3 from the three-point line, 3-4 from the free-throw line in 31 minutes. Hilton Armstrong finished with 13 points, and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes.

Parker and ASVEL will next face Nicolas Batum and SLUC Nancy.
