He is perhaps the most successful NBA basketball player to ever come out of France – San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker.
TP arrived on the scene at the ripe age of 19 and has gone on to become one of the best point guards of this era. From making the All-Star squad, his ability to score in the paint, winning three NBA titles, being named an NBA Finals MVP to garnering NBA MVP consideration this past season, there is no doubt Parker has made a huge mark on the Spurs franchise.
This summer Parker will also be leading France at the Olympics in London and a shot at Olympic gold which also add to his already large icon-status in France.
Now a book about him titled, “Tony Parker, Born To Win,” (via leParisien.fr) will hit shelves later this month (June 28) which will give readers in-depth personal stories about TP including rare photos from his family, time with the Spurs and the French national team including his rise to NBA stardom and more.
