David Robinson has more than 50,000 followers on Twitter and he doses out a lot more than just little tidbits about the San Antonio Spurs. "The 
Admiral" has lots to talk about, including quite a few opinions about college football.
This past weekend, he tweeted out some love to Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, who pulled out an impressive, come from behind win over Ole Miss.
“Anyone else becoming a @JManziel2 believer? Freshman bringing his Aggies back in 4th quarter on the road. Reminding me of @TimTebow”
Manziel went to high school in Kerrville, just northwest of San Antonio, so Robinson is rooting for a hometown guy. He’s had some exciting performances so far and will surely put up a few more, so don’t expect the tweets to stop.
Robinson is also very open about his fandom for Notre Dame football. The Irish are undefeated and now ranked seventh in the country and it looks like they may finally be good enough to make some noise in the national championship picture again. "The Admiral" will have lots more to tweet about if Notre Dame continues the way they’ve been playing.

Not only does he tweet in complete sentences with proper grammar (which is a nice change of pace from other athletes and celebrities), but he also has lots to talk about and provides some nice insight into a variety of different topics.
