‘The Admiral’ looking forward to Sunday’s Spurs-Heat clash

As the Miami Heat continues to steamroll through teams (currently riding a 27-game winning streak), they get one step closer to matching the 1971-1972 Los Angeles Lakers 33-game winning streak.

Seeing the destruction the Heat leave in their wake, the San Antonio Spurs are left with one of two choices — either succumb to the pressure, let the Heat continue on with their history-making streak or rise up and end the streak this Sunday in San Antonio.

Granted, Miami still needs to get past the Bulls and Hornets if the Spurs want a crack at ending the Heat's winning streak but should they enter Sunday's contest riding a 29-game winning streak or not, "The Admiral" will be watching.

Former Spur great David Robinson took a moment recently to comment on the Heat’s current winning streak admitting they look "tough."

In the middle of the "Rest Gate" incident, the Spurs showed that even with their big guns sent home to rest, the Spurs' bench gave the reigning NBA Champions all they could handle. But that was then and this is now.

With the original “Big Three” of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Tim Duncan available, this Easter Sunday match up has the potential of being an instant classic.

All I can say make sure you have your Sunday evening cleared. It might be a preview of the 2013 NBA Finals.

What do you think Spurs fans about the big game this Sunday?
