Last weekend in Tampa, Cooper Webb edged out Chase Sexton for the win after Sexton led for the majority of the event. It was a key win for Webb as the 26 first-place points, helped him into a tie with Sexton for second-place in the season standings after factoring Sexton’s 23 points from the event as well. After Eli Tomac ran away with the first portion of the Supercross schedule, he’s seen his lead fall to just seven points ahead of Sexton and Webb in a tight battle for supremacy. Fortunately for Tomac, Saturday’s stop in Arlington puts him right back where he collected a win last year, holding off Jason Anderson as well as Webb and Sexton in 2022. He’ll hope for the same fortune once again.
