And with San Antonio’s perplexing Tuesday loss to Oklahoma City, the Nuggets are in second place in the Western Conference, leading the Spurs and Rockets by a half-game. And for a couple of hours after Tuesday’s game, the Nuggets were officially in the playoffs, while still in the month of March — a first in 21 years.

I can’t remember the last time I saw Carlesimo on-air, but I don’t remember him being that bad. He always seemed to have a surly disposition to me, but maybe a fun environment like TNT Basketball is what the former coach needs. We shall see.
