The San Antonio Spurs are holding a mini-camp in preparation for the upcoming NBA Draft and one of the attendees is Garrett Williamson.

Williamson, a 6’5″, 200 lbs., guard, is from the D-League’s Tulsa 66ers and was actually drafted by the the Spurs’ D-League affiliate Austin Toros with the third pick of the fourth round of the 2010 D-League Draft. He spent nine games with Austin last season before landing with the 66ers and averaged 4.6 points, 1.9 assists, 1.5 rebounds, and shot 43% from the field with Tulsa.

He also played at St. Joseph’s prior to playing in the D-League and averaged 12.1 points, 3.9 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and shot 47% for the Hawks in his senior year.

What are your thoughts Spurs fans? Like this kid or feel the Spurs can look elsewhere for help at the guard position?
