The San Antonio Spurs’ training camp roster is down to 17 players after the team announced Friday they’ve waived point guard London Perrantes and forward Amida Brimah.
From the Spurs’ press release: Brimah was signed on Sept. 25 and averaged 3.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 5.7 minutes over three games this preseason with the Spurs. Perrantes, signed on Aug. 23, averaged 1.0 points in 4.8 minutes in three preseason games with the Silver and Black.
Both Perrantes and Brimah were on non-guaranteed contracts and since Matt Costello and Darrun Hilliard are on 2-way contracts, the Spurs’ roster is really down to 15 players.
Bryn Forbes is also on a non-guaranteed contract until January 10, 2018, but with no other players competing for the 15th roster spot, it seems like that last roster space will belong to him.
