Spurs vs. Kings Preview

The San Antonio Spurs are currently 0-2 on the season when playing against the Sacramento Kings. The last game they played was a few weeks ago in San Antonio where the Kings won by 132-119.

In the Spurs’ last performance against the Wizards, Keldon Johnson was the scoring leader in the matchup with 26. However, Jeremy Sochan found himself in the number two spot once again for scoring, finishing the game with 17 points. Sochan has found some confidence on the offensive end of the floor over his last few performances. If Sochan can bring that confidence out on offense once again, it could prove some trouble for Sacramento. With Sochan providing more of a threat on the offensive end, this will allow more players to open up for Tre Jones.

For the Kings, they will look to keep the same momentum from Monday night. De’Aaron Fox has put up 61 points in his last two matchups against the Wolves. The Spurs will need to limit the Kentucky alum along with Demontas Sabonis. Both of these players have the ability to explode on the offensive end. If Fox can involve Malik Monk, Harrison Barnes, and Kevin Huerter then the Spurs will have a tall task ahead of them.
