Spurs vs. Jazz – Postgame Report

First off, Its nice to be writing again. I’ve been so busy lately, I haven’t been on the computer much at all lately. So its nice to finally sit down and be able to write. Now on to the most important thing, the GAME!
Wow! What a game tonight!!! Coming into the game this matchup was classified as two top-5 teams playing in a Wetern Conference Showdown. and it didn’t disappoint. The Jazz played great tonight, especially the usual Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams. man, I bet the Cavs wish they would’ve kept Boozer because he has become a beast. The play of these two and the emegence of Ronnie Brewer and Dallas Skyline High grad CJ Miles led to the Spurs trailing the Jazz the whole game, up untill 5 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. but the Spurs came back, showing alot of heart and impressive play fom Tony, Manu, and MATT “RED ROCKET” BONNER!!! What??? I can’t believe I just said that, but he played pretty good tonight. This is the kind of test the Spurs needed comng off the much-needed WIN vs. the Mavericks. While Manu didn’t shoot the ball well tonight, he came up big in the fourth quarter when we needed him and thats the biggest thing.
Overall, I am very pleased with the Spurs win tonight and I think this pretty much solidifies them as the #1 team in the Western Conference. I hope to see Timmy back in uniform next week. Even though we have played good without him, he is our cornerstone and we need him obviously. Lets just hope Manu can keep playing like a man amongst boys. This win moves the Spurs to 17-3 and 4 games ahead of the Hornets and 5 games ahead of that team from Dallas. I will hopefully be getting on a regular writing schedule so that I can post more often and make it easier and more productive for everyone. Below is the line score of tonight’s game. The Spurs next game is against the Warriors.
Team 1 2 3 4 T
Jazz 29 22 25 22 98
Spurs 21 29 22 32 104
