Spurs vs. Cavaliers: Injury Report, Odds, How to Watch, and More!

Spurs vs. Cavaliers

The San Antonio Spurs will continue their rodeo road trip in Clevland, Ohio to take on Cleveland Cavaliers in an early matchup at 6 PM CT.

The San Antonio Spurs have yet to secure a win in their last 12 outings. Most recently the team fell short against the Atlanta Hawks 125-106. Before that, the team suffered a heartbreaking loss in double overtime against the Detroit Pistons. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers will look to extend their six-game win streak to seven at home.

This is one of the biggest margins I have seen this season as far as money line odds. The Cavs are a massive -1400 favorite tonight as the Spurs take plus money at +825. A $25 bet on a Spurs win will pay out a cool $206 if you are feeling the end of a losing streak is coming. The Cavaliers are favored by 15.5 with an over/under of 224.5. Odds according to BetMGM.

Spurs vs. Cavaliers Preview

These two teams have only met against each other one time this season back in December. In that matchup, the Spurs took out the Cavs by a score of 112-111.

This is San Antonio’s longest losing streak of the season thus far. The team has also been riddled with injuries and has had many appearances and disappearances in their starting line ups their past few matchups. Tre Jones is listed as out for the contest, however, this will give newcomer Devonte Graham some more opportunities coming off the bench. After his explosive 31-point debut, Graham posted nine points, four assists, and 2 rebounds in 24 minutes of play against the Hawks. San Antonio does have a knack for keeping their games close until they eventually give up a lead in the second half. If they can play a complete game today, they may be able to deliver that massive +825 upset.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are red-hot standing at number four in the East while riding on a six-game win streak. With a nearly fully healthy squad, Donovan Mitchell, and Darius Garland will look to keep the train moving at home. Alongside those two, big men Evan Mobley and Jarret Allen clean things up down low. This team has some explosive offense, however, Defense is where the team shines. This Cavalier allows the fewest points per game for opposing offenses. In their last three outings, their opposing teams averaged just 93.7 points in that span. A tall task lies ahead for San Antonio but this one should be entertaining nonetheless.
