Spurs vs. 76ers Preview

The San Antonio Spurs and the Philadelphia 76ers have met up only one time this season back in October. The Spurs won this matchup by a score of 114-105. However, the Spurs will be shorthanded in this matchup. The team will be missing three of their five starters.

There is a good argument that the Spurs play some of their worst basketball when Tre Jones is not there to lead the offense. Unfortunately, Jeremy Sochan and Romeo Langford cant help on the offensive end either. Given that, the Spurs have called up Dominick Barlow and Blake Wesley to San Antonio for this matchup. The Spurs will really be tested in their depth tonight, with a tough third-ranked 6ers in their sights.

The 76ers are facing a possible key injury on their end as well with Joel Embiid listed as questionable for this matchup. Luckily for them, they have another superstar in James Harden whom the offense will be able to turn to. Even without Embiid, Harden and Tobias Harris can wreak havoc against opposing offenses. In conclusion, The Spurs will need to limit those two if they want to stand a chance in this matchup. This is a tall task considering all of their injuries.

Tune in tonight for the post-game recap.
