With the 2013-14 San Antonio Spurs season right around the corner, the team announced today that training camp will be held at coach Gregg Popovich's alma mater – Air Force Academy.

The San Antonio Spurs will host training camp at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. from Oct. 1-4. The team’s annual Media Day will take place in San Antonio at the Spurs practice facility on Monday, Sept. 30 beginning at 11 a.m. before the team departs for Colorado.
The Spurs will utilize Clune Arena and the Center Gym for their practices in Colorado. Clune Arena has been the home to the Air Force basketball programs since 1968. The arena is named after former AFA Director of Athletics John Clune, who served in that position from 1975-91.
