The San Antonio Spurs closed out the road portion of their 2018-19 season schedule with a 112-90 victory over the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers (19-62) at Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday afternoon.
The win was the second straight on the road for the Spurs, who won consecutive road games for the first time since March.
LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for San Antonio with 18 points and 13 rebounds. DeMar DeRozan added 14 points to go along with nine assists.
Davis Bertans and Patty Mills combined for 28 points off the bench as San Antonio went on a big run in the second quarter and never looked back from there.
Cleveland was led by Collin Sexton and Brandon Knight, who scored 16 points each. Channing Frye had five points in his final home game as he is set to retire at the end of the season.
The Spurs are now 47-34 on the season and will return to the court on Wednesday night when they close out the regular season against the Dallas Mavericks at 7:30 pm Central Time.
