Spurs release seven-game preseason spate

The San Antonio Spurs, four months removed from a jarring loss in the seventh game of the NBA Finals, will return to the AT&T Center for a preseason tune up against Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow on Oct. 9. 
 
The official seven-game preseason spate includes three other home games against the Phoenix Suns (Oct. 13, 1:30 p.m.), Orlando Magic (Oct. 22, 7:30 p.m.) and Houston Rockets (Oct. 24, 7:00 p.m.). It also includes a mini road trip in between, with three games in six nights, beginning with the Denver Nuggets (Oct. 14, 8:00 p.m.), Atlanta Hawks (Oct. 17, 6:30 p.m.) and concluding with the defending champion Miami Heat (Oct. 19, 6:30 p.m.) All times are central.

Preseason tickets will be available to purchase online at Spurs.com or ATTCenter.com beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (210) 225-TEAM or at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or on weekend event days starting at Noon.
 
All preseason games will be aired live on WOAI-AM 1200 AM with Bill Schoening calling the action and preseason home games will be broadcast in Spanish on KCOR-AM 1300 with Paul Castro handling the play-by-play.
