Telep was ESPN’s Senior National Recruiting Analyst and considered one of the best in the business.
This move by the Spurs shores up the front office considering they have lost prominent front office people such as Sam Presti, Danny Ferry, and countless others in seasons past. Telep will definitely give the Spurs and edge in college scouting especially with the end of the Spurs "Big 3" era coming to a close soon.
