Spurs Notes 6/25/07

• 2005 Draft pick Ian Mahinmi will not be a part of the Spurs summer league team due to a torn muscle.
• The Fanhouse blog at AOL Sports says Luis Scola may choose Spain over San Antonio.
• The Brawtwurst blog declared June 24th “Wisconsin Loves Michael Finley” day.
• During the SB Nation 2007 Mock Draft, Tom from Sactown Royalty traded the number 10 pick to the Spurs for the rights to Luis Scola, the #28 pick and #33 pick. That would put the Spurs in the right position to possibly go after Acie Law. I dount Corey Brewer would fall past #7.
• Henry Abbot of True Hoop talks to Petteri Koponen, who the Spurs have brought in for workouts and could draft with their 28th pick. Seems like most of the players Henry has talked to recently have worked out for the Spurs, some of which we talked about in our pre-draft podcast which should go up tonight.
• I remember seeing this Gatorade commercial starring Manu that aired in Argentina a few years back. A few bloggers have dug it up recently, so I thought I’d do the same in case you missed it.
•Lang Whitaker of Slam Magazine has just named his 2006-07 Slammy’s. He gives Bruce Bowen the Master Lock Award and Tim Duncan The Big SLAMMY.
