On Tuesday, Project Spurs’ Michael De Leon posted a story about San Antonio Spurs’ Gary Neal playing in Washington D.C.’s famed Goodman league.
The article said that an exhibition game was being put together that featured the West coast Drew league and East coast Goodman league.
According to Wizard Extreme’s Asad Naqvi, the game is confirmed and will take place on August 20th at Coolidge High School in Washington D.C. The game is set to tip off at 6:30 (E.T.) and will be broadcasted live on TheBasketballChannel.net.
San Antonio Spurs’ Gary Neal will be teaming with players such as Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, Washington’s John Wall, and Sacramento’s DeMarcus Cousins.
The Drew league squad will feature players such as Oklahoma City’s James Harden, Milwaukee’s Brandon Jennings, and Washington’s JaVale McGee.
So Spurs fans mark your calanders as Neal and his fellow NBA players will play a rare game in August.
