The San Antonio Spurs’ current two-game losing streak has put them behind the .500 mark early this season and has them at 11th in the Western Conference.
In order to get back to .500, they’ll need a big win over the Indiana Pacers tonight. The Spurs are currently 0-1 against the Pacers this season as they handed the Spurs their first loss of the season at the AT&T Center this season on October 24, besting the Spurs 116-94.
The Spurs are considered the underdog in tonight’s game, especially as the 11-7 Pacers have been climbing the defensive rankings lately.
In their last game, the Pacers lost to the Charlotte Hornets 127-109, so they’ll be looking to reverse that trend tonight.
If you’re thinking that’s good news for the Spurs and want to bet, sportsbooks have set the odds at +125 while the Pacers’ range from -135 to -145. The spread for the game is around San Antonio +2.5. That will give you a little cushion if you think San Antonio will keep it close but not necessarily pull out the win on the road, where they’re 2-6 on the year. Beyond the odds, I’ll mention this list of sites is useful if you want to minimize risk when going with a bonus promotion. Notice that not all sites will have a bonus available so it’s suggested to do some research and find out which ones do. Keep in mind the bonus amount varies across the board.
The Pacers are currently led by guard Victor Oladipo in three categories as he is averaging 21.4 points per game, 4.7 assists per game and 1.6 steals per game.
The Spurs are led by DeMar DeRozan, who averages 24.9 points, 6.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game, so this shooting guard matchup should be the one to watch tonight.
The game tips at 7:00 p.m. Central tonight and it will be on the road at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
