Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich has said shooting guard Manu Ginobili will not play today vs. the Memphis Grizzlies and is still doubtful until Wednesday.
“We’re going to leave him as doubtful until it changes,” Popovich said.
Asked if Ginobili tried to talk Pop into playing him?
“You know damn well he did,” Popovich said. “And you know damn well he’s not happy with me.”
Guard George Hill will start in Ginobili’s place for game 1.
