The Austin Spurs earned a 105-100 win over the Bakersfield Jam in front of 550 fans inside the Dignity Health Event Center on Thursday night.
Atlanta Hawks assignee Walter Tavares led the Spurs with 23 points and 20 rebounds. Lamar Patterson also added 20 points and DeShaun Thomas chipped in 17 for Austin, who rebounded from a recent loss.
The Jam were led by Xavier Munford’s 34 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. Terrico White also added 17 for Bakersfield (9-15).
The Spurs are now 15-6 on the season and will return to the court on Saturday against the Los Angeles D-Fenders at 8:30 p.m. on the road.
