It was a game that was a struggle for the San Antonio Spurs from the opening tip. Literally nothing went the Silver and Black’s way as they saw their nine game winning streak come to an end at home, somewhere they’ve struggled in this still young season.

Kawhi Leonard had 21 points, but it was not enough as the Spurs fell 95-83 to the Orlando Magic at the AT&T Center on Tuesday night, ending their nine game winning streak.

LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 points and Manu Ginobili chipped in 13 off the bench for San Antonio, who fell for the fourth time at home this season.

I thought there defense was really solid,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said of Orlando. “They put us on our heels most of the game. We held the ball a lot because of their defense, they made shots and played better.”

San Antonio trailed for most of the game, scoring a season low 53 first half points. The Spurs committed a season-high 19 turnovers and were outscored 31-20 in the third quarter.

“They come here, they don’t expect to win, but once they get an opportunity, they see a window, they jump right through it,” Spurs center Pau Gasol said.

The Magic were led by Serge Ibaka’s 18 points. Evan Fournier scored 13 points and Nikola Vucevic had 12 for Orlando (7-11), who snapped a four game losing skid.

Orlando’s victory was their first in the Alamo City since December 2010.

Up next: The Spurs are now 14-4 on the season and will return to the court tomorrow night when they travel to face the Dallas Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. inside the American Airlines Center.
