Spurs DFS Outlook (3/10/2020) vs. Dallas Mavericks

0

SAN ANTONIO – Coming off an embarrassing loss to the Brooklyn Nets, followed by an overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the San Antonio Spurs finally return home. Unfortunately for them, the matchups don’t get any easier.

SPURS INJURY REPORT

Jakob Poeltl – Out (knee)
Dejounte Murray – Out (calf)
LaMarcus Aldridge – Doubtful (shoulder)
Lonnie Walker IV – Questionable (shin)
Chimezie Metu – Out (G League assignment)

FanDuel Must Have: Rudy Gay – $4300

Despite the injury report and production over seven games, Gay remains pretty affordable on FanDuel. He’s consistently seeing his minutes in the mid-20s while averaging 26.6 fantasy points during that span.

Gay continues to be San Antonio’s primary backup center. While the Mavericks are 17th versus opposing centers, Gay still makes a worthwhile option with his high floor.

DraftKings Must Have: Keldon Johnson – $3100

While Marco Belinelli is no longer on the injury report, the injury to Dejounte Murray should still free up minutes for Keldon Johnson to come off the bench in relief of Derrick White.

In his last four games, Johnson is averaging over 16 minutes per game while putting up 16.8 fantasy points in that span. Johnson’s definitely worth a punt option as he’ll play regular rotation minutes, and still play in a potential blowout scenario.

Overall Must Have: Derrick White (FD: $4800 | DK: $4600)

Tonight’s overall Spurs must have is point guard Derrick White. With the injury to Dejounte Murray, White will easily see starters minutes and meet his value against a tough Mavericks defense. White could even be more valuable if Luka Doncic sits tonight, as he’s questionable with a wrist sprain.
