According to Yahoo’s Marc Spears, JaMychal Green has left the Spurs D-League affiliate, but don’t worry. He’s going to sign with the San Antonio Spurs and stay in town.
UPDATE: At 1:02 PM CST, the Spurs announced the team has officially waived Austin Daye.
So far this season, Green is averaging 23 points, 1.6 blocks, 10.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists per game on a healthy 58.5% shooting from the field.
His addition to the Spurs would be nice and it seems he will be replacing a guy who was mostly a bench warmer with the exception of his one breakout game against Minnesota where he had 22 points and 10 boards.
