Austin Spurs guard Jonathan Simmons, who recently scored 30 points over theBakersfield Jam, made a big play when it mattered most in the Spurs’ narrow win against the Reno Bighorns last night.
With Reno and Austin all tied up with 3.2 seconds to play, Bruce Cotton found Simmons on the wing, who nailed a well-defended three pointer at the buzzer to give Austin their second straight win and their 15th of the year.
