San Antonio recall Bertans, Forbes and Murray from Austin

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs announced today that they have recalled their trio of assignee’s back to the parent club.

Bertans and Murray performed admirably in last night’s loss to the Oklahoma City Blue, with both players scoring 22 points and 18 points, respectively. Bertans scored all of his 22 points in the first half, going 6-for-8 on 3-point attempts before halftime.

Murray caught fire in the fourth quarter, finishing the game with 18 points, six rebounds and seven assists, but also six turnovers.

Forbes struggled with his shot, going 2-for-8 on field goal attempts, notching seven points in the loss.

The trio were recalled in time for the Spurs game against the Miami Heat tonight at the AT&T Center, but no word if they will be reassigned to Austin before Tuesday morning’s game against the Reno Bighorns.
