After playing with (in no particular order) Team Britain, Team Jamaica, Georgia team Sokhumi, Polish team Asseco, Spanish team Gran Canaria, Austrian team BC Zepter, and Swiss teams Lugano Tigers and BBC Monthey, Richards has now signed with Al Nasr Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The Spurs still hold his rights but at this point, it may be shaping up that Ryan won't be coming to the NBA anytime soon.

He played with the Spurs' Summer League team this summer and performance was sub-par. His best game was versus the Bucks where he finished with 18 points. But aside from that, it was another mediocre showing.

There's also the reported maturity issues from Richards. Recall he quit on Team Britain, and left Swiss team Lugano for "personal reasons."

He may as well be labeled a "draft-and-stash" for San Antonio but he is young (22-years old) and there is still time for him to get it together. However, he may be more "stash" at this point in his NBA dreams.

Thoughts Spurs fans?
