Update: On Tuesday November 24, the Spurs officially announced the team has re-signed Jakob Poeltl.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Friday evening the San Antonio Spurs will be re-signing restricted free agent Jakob Poeltl to a three year deal worth $27 million.
Once Poeltl, Drew Eubanks, and rookie Devin Vassell sign their contracts, the Spurs’ roster will carry 12 players on guaranteed deals.
The Spurs have two ways to re-sign Poeltl, either with his full bird rights, or by using the full mid-level exception.
The Spurs have a decision to make soon regarding whether they’ll guarantee Trey Lyles’ full salary for the upcoming season or waive him.
